NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach
(Jen is not currently accepting new clients)
Jen has a passion for all things fitness. She believes that movement and nutrition create the foundation for success in all aspects of life. Jen has been active throughout her entire life, but her fitness journey truly began over a decade ago when she started running, strength training and eating well as a way to get in better shape and ease the stress of law school.
After training for and running her first 10k, she was hooked. She was crazy about the process and the feeling of working toward seemingly impossible goals.
Jen finished the Boston Marathon twice as a qualified runner, placed second in the Santa Barbara International Marathon and won two ultra marathons, even after stopping during a race to nurse her daughter! Most recently Jen was the overall top female finisher in the 2023 Capital City Half Marathon.
Jen loves to see her clients break through perceived mental, emotional, and physical barriers and accomplish things they never imagined they were capable of.
As a mom and former lawyer, Jen has the knowledge and experience to help manage your busy schedule and prioritize your health and wellness.

Jen has experience and knowledge across several areas of fitness and nutrition. As a competitive runner, she has won several races ranging from the 5K to a 12 hour ultra marathon.
Jen is also an avid strength trainer and focuses on performance and hypertrophy. She has experience with CrossFit and traditional and functional strength training. As a former dancer and long-time practitioner of yoga, Jen has a keen eye for proper body alignment and posture and values the importance of mobility and recovery.
As a “home chef”, Jen has always had a knack for creating healthy, delicious, well-balanced meals. With three young daughters (a baby, preschooler and kindergartener!), she has learned ways to efficiently create recipes and prepare meals that are nutrient dense and loved by all.
-
Jen believes in celebrating the small things. She is passionate about guiding clients past their limitations and helping them achieve goals through meeting small milestones that lead to big victories.
Jen bases her approach on the mental and emotional component of achieving success related to fitness, nutrition and quality of life. She approaches the coaching process by identifying her client’s goals, evaluating perceived obstacles and collaborating with her clients to come up with a specific plan to succeed.
Whether you are looking to include fitness in your busy life and develop better habits around eating or train for your first long distance race, Jen will partner with you to create a specific, process-oriented plan.
